MY STORY

From getting my first camera at age of 8 to every creative venture since; my passion for art hasn’t quit. Embracing art at a young age lead me to develop multiple creative talents along with a lifelong passion for pursuing the creative side of life each and every day. Throughout my life, I’ve experimented with a variety of mediums that include photography, videography, and design. With each along the way, I found myself striving to capture moments in a creative and unique way. At the age of 15 years old I decided to create my one-person studio of “Willie Tigges – Photo & Video”. Throughout that time I was able to work in a variety of settings and climates while having my photography featured in local galleries such as Dubuque Museum of Art, Dubuque Area Arts Collective, and Carnegie-Stout Public Library. As my talents developed I found a love for concert photography specifically and was be able to photograph some of my favorite musical artists in concert such as Kacey Musgraves, Halsey, BORNS, Greta Van Fleet, Passenger, Maggie Rogers, Hippo Campus, Oh Wonder, COIN, and many more. After graduating High School I decided to expand my skillset even further and pursued Graphic Design. Through my work in college, I was awarded two Silver American Advertising Awards Federation awards and two Iowa Community College Advertising Design Invitational awards as well. In 2019, I graduated from NICC and fully rebranded under “Willie Tigges – Photo. Video. Design.”. Since then I have gone on to work with many local organizations, businesses, and companies helping them reach new heights via design, marketing, photography, and more. While still pursuing the creative side of life each and every day.
